Dr Victoria McKelvey
Since graduating in 2001 from Otago University School of Dentistry, Victoria has worked in both general dental practice, and at the Hospital Dental Service. She has undertaken further postgraduate study in Dental Public health, graduating with a Masters of Community Dentistry degree with Distinction in 2012.
With many years of experience working in private practice and hospital dental services under her belt, and has specialised in Dental Public health, Victoria is passionate about the early prevention of dental problems as she understands that our oral health is part of our overall health. Victoria enjoys all aspects of dentistry and takes a genuine and caring approach to guide decisions for the best treatments for good long-term health outcomes. Victoria is experienced in treating patients with special care needs and complex medical histories.
Outside of work, Victoria enjoys spending quality time with her family and heading outdoors to enjoy all the best that Canterbury offers.
Dr Daniel Du
Daniel graduated from The University of Queensland in Brisbane with Honours. He previously worked in both the public and private sectors in Sydney and Brisbane before moving to New Zealand in 2021. He worked in Dunedin for two years in a busy private practice, as well as being a tutor for final year dental students at the University of Otago. Since then, he has relocated to Christchurch with his partner and joined the wonderful team at Richmond Village Dental.
Daniel enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. With his caring and gentle manner, he strives to make all of his patients feel comfortable and at ease. Daniel is always happy to listen to your concerns and work with you to develop positive experiences, so you receive the best possible care.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoys swimming and going on hikes. He also enjoys travelling and exploring the beautiful sights that New Zealand has on offer.
Dr Wei Ping Chew
After graduating from Otago University in 2005, Wei Ping worked for a couple of years at Palmerston North Hospital. Since then she has worked in private practice in various dental surgeries in Palmerston North, Whanganui, Kaiapoi and Christchurch. She did some volunteer dental work at SALT mobile dental bus at Highbury in Palmerston North in 2008 and 2009 and has previously volunteered to work as a dentist at the NZDA Colgate free dental day. She completed further studies in 2007 with commendations in all six subjects in the primary examination in the Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Dentistry (FRACD).
Wei Ping joined Richmond Village Dental in November 2020. She provides quality general dental care for a patient-centred practice with emphasis on preventive dentistry in a friendly environment. In addition to general dental services, she also provides the restorative part of implant services. Richmond Village Dental has the state of the art facilities with the latest dental technology and research ensuring patients get the best that modern dentistry has to offer.
Outside of work, Wei Ping enjoys off trail running, road biking, open water swimming in summer and in winter, snowboarding.
Kamila Khan
Hi my name is Kamila and I graduated with a Bachelors of Oral Health.
Meeting new people of all different ages and backgrounds is one of the main reasons I love my job. The other part of my job I enjoy is encouraging and helping people improve their oral health by providing them the knowledge and help that they need.

Justin Jordaan
I studied at the University of Otago completing my Bachelors degree in Dental Technology in 2017. I also got my Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology with Distinction in 2018.
After I graduated, I worked part time as a Dental Technician in Mosgiel, Dunedin as well as starting up and running my own mobile denture business where I was mostly treating patients in rest homes throughout Dunedin.
After working in Dunedin for 3 years I relocated with my no-wife to Christchurch to start our new chapter and grow our family.

I have a 3-year-old Miniature Schnauzer called Dexter

Been South African I really enjoy having a few different meats on my pizza so a meat lovers is always a go-to as well as having Jalapeno’s in the mix

Try not to worry about the small things and enjoy what you do

Ever since I was younger I knew I wanted to be in dentistry and now that I’m actually doing it, I wouldn’t want to do anything else. I love meeting so many people and being able to make patients feel welcome and comfortable and leave with a smile and a laugh.
I’m so grateful to work with such an amazing team and have so many amazing opportunities such as going to the Chatham Islands with Victoria throughout the year!
I’m passionate about cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and finding the newest brunch spots around town.
