Mya joined Richmond Village Dental at the start of 2022 as a new dental assistant, bringing her bright, friendly energy and genuine love for helping people. She quickly became a familiar face around the practice, known for making every patient feel at ease.

After completing her Certificate in Dental Assisting, Mya travelled to the Chatham Islands with Victoria, providing essential dental care, an experience that deepened her passion for making dentistry accessible and compassionate for everyone.

Now as Practice Manager, Mya keeps the clinic running smoothly while ensuring both patients and staff feel supported and valued. She’s passionate about creating a welcoming space where visiting the dentist feels easier – and even enjoyable!

Always ready with a smile (and often behind the camera for our social media), Mya loves sharing the heart and personality of Richmond Village Dental. Outside of work, she enjoys catching up with friends and exploring new brunch spots around Christchurch.
